.:Fur:.

 //Vest:  Banana Republic (old; this year's version)// Sweater:  Loft (similar)// Denim:  Hudson// Booties:   Matisse// Handbag:  Celine//

Have I mentioned how much I love Fall?  I figured while I know that the weather will be back to the 80s or 90s by the weekend, I'm piling on fur for the 70ish degree weather now.  As much as I love my skirts and dresses, I'm completely ready for leather, fur, and layers.

.:THE COCO TO MY CHANEL:.

 //Shirt:  StyleLately // Blazer:  J.Crew // Brooch:  Chanel // Skinnies:  Paige (love these) // Booties:  Matisse// Necklace:  TJ Maxx (similar) // Handbag:  Celine//

THREE THINGS:

1.  This shirt may be my new favorite.  My lust for all things Chanel has been pretty strong as of late.  That being said, when I saw this shirt, I knew it had to come and live with me!

2.  I have to admit something.  Last fall, I thought booties were horrible.  I felt like they did absolutely nothing for me.  For some reason, this fall, I'm hopping on the bandwagon.  These leopard babies completely changed my mind.  I've worn them three times in the past week alone.  I've learned something yet again…never say never.

3.  On Saturday, the hubby and I poured our family's wine at the Airshow.  We were standing, gossiping, and pouring for the majority of the day. These booties were as delightful on my feet as the time that we had there!  I have to say, the highlight of the show was meeting Maureen from The Northeast Girl.  If you haven't checked out her amazing style, you absolutely need to!  She is as sweet as she is stylish!

Cheers to a fantastic weekend!

.:Fall Returns:.

//Shirt: J.Crew Factory// Pants:  Ann Taylor (this year's version)// Flats:  Steve Madden// Necklace:  H&M (sold out; similar here & here)//

Just yesterday I was talking about how the weather here is still warm and how I can hardly wait for Fall!  Well…today temperatures dropped 15 to 20 degrees, it sprinkled, and I froze!  I am so thankful to have Fall here!  I just hope that it sticks around as I love being able to bring out my favorite Fall basic…leather pants!

.:Fall Wants:.

While it is still in the 70s to 80s here, I have fully caught Fall fever and am dying to get some Fall pieces!  Here's what's on my wish list that is specific to the season:

A good buffalo check will carry you through Fall with big chunky scarfs, destroyed jeans, and fabulous boots in tow!

This blazer could be super cute with a Chanel brooch (or any sparkly necklace or brooch) and leather pants to add some toughness to this business-like piece.
Leopard is a neutral.  This scarf would go with everything from stripes to solids to instantly up the ante of any outfit without effort.

You all know how much I love my leopard flats!  I think I may just need a boot version for Fall/Winter!

These flats sparkle with gorgeousness!  They would be so cute paired with a pair of black leather pants and a loose white tee.

These booties are life.  I love the sweet bow on the back.  While they are an investment, they would be worthwhile as they would go with just about any Fall outfit.

This jacket is so amazing.  The leather sleeves up the cool factor of it a million percent.  I picture it styled with destroyed denim, a Chanel brooch, and black d'orsay pumps.

.:Lace:.

//Shirt:  J.Crew (old; nearly identical & 30% off)// Necklace:  Stella & Dot (this season's version) // Skirt:  Loft (old; similar)// Heels:  Sam Edelman (love these)//

It's starting to look a little more like Fall here lately.  While our days are still pretty warm, our nights and mornings are quite a bit cooler!  I am chomping at the bit to bring out my boots and style some fabulous fall outfits!
Hope you first day of Fall was great!

.:Weekend Wear:.

//top:  Anthropologie (old; similar on sale!)// Denim:  7 for All Mankind// Flip Flops:  Gap (similar)// Necklace:  Nest (this season's version)//

Weekends are made for relaxed looks that otherwise wouldn't be deemed work appropriate.  For me, I automatically correlate weekends with destroyed denim.  I just can't help but look forward to weekends for the pure and simple reason that I know I can slip on my favorite pair of jeans that aren't professional enough looking to get away with at work.  Our Sunday consisted of cleaning the house, watching YouTube videos, scrolling Instagram, and going to the grocery store.  I looked for a basic, easy, comfortable outfit for today and found just that in this ruffly top and perfectly broken in denim.
Hope your weekend was fantastic!

.:Hearts:.

//Top:  Loft// Denim:  Hudson// Shoes: J.Crew (similar)//

Sometimes, believe it or not, you don't need tons of accessories.  I felt as though this blouse spoke for itself.  It didn't need to compete with a strong necklace.  It was able to stand on its own.  I paired it with some sweet bow pumps to polish off the look.  Hope you're week is winding down beautifully!

.:Last Days of Summer:.

//Sweater:  J.Crew Factory// Skirt:  Banana Republic (identical)// Pumps:  Sam Edelman (similar)// Necklace:  J.Crew (identical)// Clutch:  The Providence Story//

I've been enjoying the last days of Summer weather here by wearing some of my favorites while the weather still permits.  Nothing beats a girly skirt and some leopard!

.:Cobalt:.

Hi Everyone!
I'm sharing my look for today over on Mindy Mae's Market's blog.  Head over to check it out!

.:J'ADORE:.

 //Tee: Old Navy// Jacket:  Zara (love this one!)// Belt:  LV// Jeans:  Paige (love these)// Flats:  DSW (not available online; just bought in store this week)// Clutch:  The Providence Story//

I absolutely love mixing high end with budget friendly pieces.  Theres something about taking a $12 shirt and mixing it with an investment piece that really seems to make an outfit worth noticing.  One thing that I've noticed is that if you have one investment piece in your outfit, the entire look gets an automatic upgrade and looks more chic as a whole.  My investment pieces are pieces that I will have for years to come (this belt is over 2 years old already) and I wear at least once a week! I always seem to get my money's worth from them over time considering my cost per wear theory (see this post for that!).
Do you have any pieces that instantly jazz up an outfit?

Abbie
