//Sweater:  Banana Republic (on sale!) // Denim:  Gap // Necklace:  BaubleBar (30% off with code: spring30) // Handbag:  Rebecca Minkoff // Shoes:  Piperlime (on mega sale!!!) //

I'm dreaming of outfits made of white and blush lately.  Spring is here in California, and I am celebrating by wearing my spring pieces.  This is by far, my favorite color palette for spring!
Thanks for stopping by!

Date Night Edition

//Shirt:  J.Crew Factory // Necklace:  Nest // Skirt:  Anthropologie (old; nearly identical) // Belt:  Anthropologie (old; obsessing over this one) // Heels:  Christian Louboutin 554 Decollette (newer version here) // Sunnies // Handbag //

This look is one that I wore on date night a few weeks ago.  I love how the unexpectedness of the belt and the antler necklace adds such a pop to the outfit.  I am already looking forward to dressing up and heading out to dinner and movie this weekend…and it's only Wednesday! :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

// Sweater:  Banana Republic (nearly identical here) // Skirt:  J.Crew (really old; similar here) // Heels:  Target (old; lusting after these here) // Sunnies // Handbag:  Celine //

St. Patrick's Day is one of my favorites to celebrate at work with my first graders.  They are adorably excited about everything.  We worked on lucky charm sorting and then did a few graphing activities.  I dropped my students off at lunch, scurried as fast as I could in these 4 plus inch heels back to my classroom and proceeded to create absolute havoc in my room.  I flipped over desks, dumped out  pencil boxes and spread books across our floors.  In short, I made sure our classroom looked like a war zone for my kiddos.  I then proceeded to run to Starbucks so that I would have an alibi for my lunchtime activities.   After lunch, when I returned to our room with my kiddos, we discovered that the leprechauns had come to visit us.  They were so jazzed and excited to find out that the leprechauns had come and visited our room.  I love my job!

Hope your St. Patty's was just as eventful!

.:Sunday Funday:.

// Sweater:  J.Crew (in love with this one) // Necklace:  Whitley V. Designs // Denim:  Joe's Jeans via Marshalls // Heels:  Target (old; trying to justify purchasing these) // Clutch:  The Providence Story (wanting to upgrade to this one)//

Hello Everyone!

Sorry for the delay in postings!  I've been a bit more focused on my day job but hope to be back with vengeance now.  I teach first grade by day and blog by night.  However, the past few weeks were filled with grading HUNDREDS of tests, inputting grades, and prepping for conferences.  I've been a wee bit busy but have missed this creative outlet so very much!

That being said, let's get back into life & outfits currently!  Yesterday, the husband and I spent much of our daylight hours in our front yard gardening and trying to make our yard look a little more loved (I'll spare you the pictures of me in gym clothes and dirt :)).  After we spent our day digging in the sun, we decided to take in a movie and dinner.  I decided that I wanted a casual but cute look for our outing last night.

This breezy top was perfect for the 90 degree weather we were having today and allowed for me to still stay warm as temperatures started to drop as the night went on. These jeans are just amazing.  I wish I could wear them to work…I might never wear anything else! As for these shoes, I purchased them last year at target and am completely smitten.  However, I'm lusting quite hard over the beauties linked above!

Hope your weekend was relaxing!

Neutrals With a Pop of Color

Untitled #11

//Shirt:  J.Crew Factory // Denim:  Gap // Lipstick:  YSL // Handbag:  Phillip Lim // Shoes:  Sam Edelman//

Spring fever is starting to hit me.  Since these are all items that I own and absolutely adore, I am chomping at the bit to wear this outfit asap!  Im obsessing over neutrals paired with a small pop of color.  This bag really livens up this outfit.
