Happy Tuesday, Everyone!  

Temperatures here have dropped this week and while I'm not certain that they will stay as cool as they are currently, I have officially begun adding in my Fall pieces.  These white jeans transition into fall nicely with the edition of a tweed moto style jacket and flats.  

I know some of you may be thinking, "White jeans in the Fall?" My answer is "Why not?"  White jeans are fresh at any time of the year.  I think all that is important is how you style them.  By adding a tweed fabric, like in this jacket, which has a very Fall-esque feel, you create a much different seasonal look than you would if you just paired this with a striped tee and sandals.  In addition, adding in the flats (as opposed to sandals) really helps to transition the look too!  Basically, in pairing with simple Fall pieces, your white denim will transition through the seasons nicely without looking out of place.

Happy Monday Everyone!

One thing that always seems to put a little pep in my step while getting ready for a long work day is dressing up more than I feel like.  Some days, I'll be honest, nothing sounds greater than wearing yoga pants to work.  However, it is on those days that I really try to dress up as it seems to also help to boost my mood.  An easy tip when you're in a funk is grabbing a dress and kitten heels.  Dresses are a no brainer and allow you to just put on one piece without having to worry about matching.  Kitten heels are an easy way to still provide comfort but also add some dressiness to any outfit!  Hope your week is off to a great start!

Gold & Blush

Hi There!

Today may have been the first day of Fall, and I may have enjoyed a Salted Caramel Mocha at Starbucks today (thus signifying the start of the season), BUT it's still toasty in California.  I'm soaking up the last rays of sunshine in my skirts.  That does not mean that I'm getting ready to store these pieces away anytime soon.  In fact, I plan on making them Fall appropriate.

Here are my thoughts for transitioning these Summer staples into Fall:  

• This top is a basic and goes with just about everything.  I plan on pairing it with leather pants, destroyed denim, and wool skirts as the months go on.  The ones that I linked below will do a great job with all of the above mentioned possibilities as well!  
• This skirt would look adorable paired with a black sweater and booties as it continues to get a little cooler.  In fact, the one I linked below is practically dying for a utility jacket to be added into an outfit with it!

Fall Style

Here in California, the weather cannot seem to decide if it would rather be Summer or Fall.  One day we have 70 degree weather, only to wake up the next morning to 105 degree heat.   I'm taking the weather report one day at a time and wore this look on one of the cooler days.  I am completely itching to have the Fall season fully kick off!

This cardigan is one of my seasonal favorites.  It is so soft and cozy it almost feels as though you're wearing pajamas!  It's so much one of my favorites that I just ordered it in another color as well!

These heels (here & here) are a must have for fall.  I love the subtle detail that they have.  They go with everything and can be worn with dresses now and more fall appropriate denim later on as it gets cooler.

Hi Everyone! Happy Monday!  I am thrilled to be posting today! Since I am working 60 hour weeks at my regular job, I've haven't had all of the time that I would like to work on the blog.  Thanks for being so patient with me.  I'm working to create some sort of schedule for myself so that I can continue to post frequently as I love doing so!

IN OTHER NEWS...

We spent this weekend relaxing at home and enjoying the last few days of summer in my in-law's swimming pool.  It is so nice to be able to enjoy the sunshine while we've got it!  We spent Saturday night enjoying a birthday dinner for my little brother. 

NOW, ONTO THE OUTIT…

This top was an eBay score that I hunted almost a year for.  However, after attempting to find a similar version for you lovelies, I came across this affordable version that I love just as much!  It's gorgeous and could be transitioned so easily into the holiday months with a skirt and heels.  

Also, it's no secret that these jeans are my favorites!  Imagine my happy surprise when I found them on sale for over half off here! Just saying, you might just need them!
