New Year's Eve Inspiration

Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a great holiday!  I throughly enjoyed spending some time with my loved ones and celebrating!

Now that Christmas is over, I am now getting myself ready for New Year's Eve!  With that coming at the end of the week, now is the perfect time to plan your outfit.  Whether you are staying in and watching the ball drop or headed to a fabulous bash, an outfit that helps you celebrate with a smile is a must!  I am loving all things feathery, fringe, and of course, sparkly for New Year's Eve!  Here are some of the many pieces that I've been adoring for later on this week.

Abbie

Tres Chic

Happy Tuesday!
I'm thrilled to be on vacation from work this week and am living in casual outfits!  This sweater is something that I typically can't wear to work yet love to spend the weekends in!  I love dressing up super casual pieces, such as this graphic sweater, with structured pieces (like this handbag and pair of flats) to provide the look with a little more polish!
Hope your week is going well!
xoxo,
Abbie

Happy Monday Everyone!
I am so excited for Christmas to get here later on this week!  In my family, we typically don't get all too dressed up for Christmas. But instead, we tend to have a casual Christmas.  Here's an example of something that I may end up wearing!  Enjoy your holiday week!

Wellie Season

Hi Everyone!
If there's one thing that I absolutely love about the rain, it's being able to wear my wellies!  I've had these for a few years now & I'm happy to say that they have held up so well!  Also, I'm excited to tell you that Hunter has brought back this pink color!  They are a staple in my wardrobe and I actually look forward to rain because of them!
Thanks for stopping by!

Abbie

Festive Party Attire

Happy Monday, Everyone!
My husband's company had their annual Christmas party this weekend and we were so excited to be able to attend!  This year it was hosted at a beautiful beachfront resort.  We loved being able to dress up and mingle.  This dress was a winner, as I was stopped quite frequently about it!  To top it off, the dress is one of the most comfortable ones that I own as the inner layer is stretchy and almost has a luxe yoga pant feel (though it sure does not look like it!)!  I can't wait to wear it again!  Hope your weekend was just as fun as ours!

Ruffles

Happy Friday Everyone!  I am so excited for the weekend!  We have my husband's company Christmas Party & hopefully some Christmas shopping to do!  I hope you all have fantastic plans!
Anyway, onto the outfit.  This sweater is one of my favorites.  I love that it has the layered look automatically with just one piece.  The ruffle is so fun and feminine, too!  It will be great to wear to some holiday parties!

Abbie

Buffalo Check

Happy Wednesday Everyone!
I am so in love with buffalo check and leopard paired together.  I seriously can't get over how well they work together.

We need to take a brief minute to discuss how awesome this sweater is.  Now, the discussion of this sweater also comes with me admitting one of my weird shopping habits to you all.  I have to say that I absolutely adore randomly scoping out and shopping in the men's section (it's fabulous for great oversized finds).  I was browsing around Banana's men's section and found this sweater there (I'm wearing a men's small here).  I love the loose relaxed look.  To me, it's just perfection!  That being said, when you're out shopping, don't discriminate…search everywhere in stores because you never know what you will find!

Abbie

Trench Coat

Happy Monday, Everyone!
You all know that I'm obsessed with good basics and I don't mind spending more on them because I know that I will have them for (hopefully) decades. To me, a good trench is one of those pieces.  I am so obsessed with styling mine on weekends as of late with ripped denim!  I love the juxtaposition of something so clean and pristine as a trench with ripped destroyed denim.   The juxtaposition not only adds interest to your outfit, but a cool factor was well!
Hope your monday is going well!  Be sure to check back in tomorrow for a gift guide that you won't want to miss!
xoxo,
Abbie

2015 Christmas Wishlist

Happy Friday, Everyone! I hope your week was fantastic!  I'm starting off this weekend with a post featuring my dream Chirstmas wishlist!  These are the items that I have been currently drooling over. To be specific, in between the Celine sunnies, Keepall (be still my heart!:)), agenda (every busy girl needs a fantastic planner right?!), and flats (the gold would go with everything & the kitty ones are just the cutest thing ever), I can't seem to pick my jaw off the ground.  They are all just absolutely too gorgeous.  While I know that the majority of these items will remain a dream for now, it is so fun to actually browse the sites and find things that make your heart skip a beat in the process.

Luxe for Less

Happy Friday Eve!
I'm sure you've notice by now that I'm obsessed with combining high and low to create the perfect outfit.  While I absolutely love designer shoes and handbags, I rarely purchase designer clothing.  Most of the time, my actual clothing pieces can be found in places ranging from J.Crew to Loft to Target.  This cape is quite affordable at under $30 yet it seems so luxe.  I was honestly shocked and in awe of the quality of this.  The knit is thick and well done.  The fur collar that is attached to the cape is soft, cozy, and looks similar to something that I might find at Anthropologie.  That being said, I could see this cape priced elsewhere for so much more!  It is such a favorite of mine that I purchased it in both colors!  It can be combined so many ways, I have found myself pairing it with everything from ripped denim and loafers to leather pants and leopard heels!

Stay tuned tomorrow to see my personal holiday wish list!
xoxo,
Abbie
