Favorite Sweater

Hi All!

This sweater to me is honestly one of my favorites that I've ever purchased.  I've seriously worn it twice a week for the past three weeks!  That is a lot! It's honestly one of those items where I secretly debate if I should buy a second one just in case something happens to this one.  I'm that in love with it!

If you haven't noticed, neutrals are currently a HUGE favorite of mine as of late.  I seriously cannot get enough of the easy color pallette.  When paired together, they look so fresh and yet classic at the same time.  I've fallen head over heels for outfits that are mostly containing neutrals.  Honestly, I think I may be on the road to becoming a minimalist!  This is so very different from a few years ago when all I wanted to wear were outfits that had a plethora of patterns.  It's funny how time changes our style?!

Fringe & Lace-ups

Happy Monday!

This outfit from last week is one that I really love.  As you all know, I'm obsessed with fringe as of late.   This sweater is on sale and is perfection.  It's such a basic but has enough interest to be a statement in any outfit!  Also, I'm having quite a moment in terms of loving lace-up flats lately.  I seriously cannot get enough.  I love how girly they are.  I think they may in part remind me of the desire I had as a child to be a ballerina (that lasted a whole whopping one class before I decided against it…haha!).  Later on this week, I'm going to do a round up of all of my favorite pairs!  I'm that in love with them.

Winter vacation is officially over for me and I headed back into the classroom today to be greeted by 24 smiling faces.  I feel so lucky to have a job that I love more often than not!  It really makes it a lot easier to go back to work after having such an extended time period to get used to waking up late and doing whatever my heart desired during the days.  I have to say, I am quite excited to be back in routine again.

I'm sure you've all heard by now that rose quartz is the color of the year!  I have to say, while I don't typically hop on the "color of the year" bandwagon, this happens to be one of my favorite shades out there.  You all know I've been OBSESSED with anything blush pink for quite some time.  Honestly, this means that I'm absolutely thrilled because my favorite color to wear will be on just about every piece of clothing available!

I firmly believe that you should only hop on the trends if they automatically flow into your personal style seamlessly.  This is definitely one that I can incorporate easily!  What you do think of it?

Fringe Blazer

Hi Everyone!

I have spent today enjoying the last day of vacation!  It's back to the salt mines mañana!  I will severely miss sleeping in and leisurely picking out my outfits as I sip my coffee in the mornings!  However, I am excited to see my team and catch up with them.  

Anyway, on another note, this outfit is one that I wore to dinner with my sweet hubby!  I love the fringe detailing on this blazer.  It gives new life to such a classic design.  The best part is that it is on major sale right now!  That's right…go order it!  It easily transitions from work with trousers or a dress to nighttime drinks/dinner with destroyed denim or leather pants and some killer heels!  I love pieces that work in such a way that they can be transitioned from one place to another quite easily!

If it's one trend that I am seriously addicted to, it's fringe.  Seriously, to me it doesn't seem to matter what it's on, I lust after it.  I have currently purchased fringe heels, a few pairs of fringe booties, a plethera of fringe encrusted sweaters & cardigans, a fringe blazer and a fringe blouse so far!  It's seriously an addiction.   These pieces are just too cute to pass up!   That said, don't be surprised when the outfits in the next few weeks include lots of it!

Happy New Year, Everyone!  

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!  I know most of us are doing are best to get after those resolutions!  Each year I make an attempt to make a few but this year I'm still grappling with what those resolutions will be.  I will more than likely do a post on them once I've fully set all my goals for the year!  What are some of your resolutions?
